hey..wondering about proffessions - Guild Wars Forums

just wondering if i becom a ranger what shuold i av as a second proffession?? mabey an asassin?

Rangers are pretty self-sufficient, using their own attributes and skills. I'd pick a 2nd that has a reusable rez spell (monk, rit, paragon).

You can always change your 2nd later in the game so don't worry about it too much.

Another factor may be which campaign you start the toon in. If Prophecies and you are interested in PvP then pick a profession that you want to unlock skills for since there are many skills given as quest rewards.

i was also wodering what monster a ritualist can summon or necromancer

Ritualists summon spirits, stationary "ghosts" that deal damage, provide healing, etc. They have a limited life and can also be killed by enemies.

Necros raise undead minions from corpses. They degenerate at an ever increasing rate but can be healed.

Rangers also have spirits but their affect both allies and enemies alike.

As a new player you cant go wrong with monk as a secondary..reuseable rez makes a huge difference
